How much money can you make as a Beachbody Coach?

I get this question often enough, especially from folks who are interested in potentially becoming a Coach. So how much money do I make, and how much money do Beachbody Coaches make?

I will start off discussing my personal experiences as a Coach and then go on to discuss stats surrounding everyone else. First of all, I am not  going to give any monetary figures in this blog. One, I don't wish to come off as 'bragging'. And two, it's not really anyone's business, so there!

I want to also start off by saying that I have been like an "unofficial" Beachbody Coach for years now. For those of you who have been following my YouTube channel and blog know, I have been blogging and video blogging everything Beachbody and health and fitness-related for years. I have been an athlete my entire life, I love to be active, and I love the science behind everything health and science related.

Becoming a Beachbody Coach (when it was finally made available to us Canadians) was a no-brainer for me as I knew this would be just another outlet for me to help others lead healthy lives. I like to think that I have always been honest with my reviews, and I know for a fact that my blogs have helped so many stay informed, so as cliched and as corny as it sounds, that is very fulfilling for me. If you don't believe me, go and look back all of the blogs and videos I made prior to signing up as a Coach on October 1st 2012. I was connecting and helping others online for years prior to even becoming a Coach!

Beachbody Coaching is certainly not  a "get rich quick" scheme. I know many hear the phrase "pyramid scheme" and run for the hills, but I will say that anyone  has an opportunity to make a sustainable earning. Whether that is a part-time earning or a full-time earning is strictly up to each individual!

I know I have heard lots of folks commenting on the fact that the Beachbody Coach market is so diluted and diverse already, what is the point of becoming a Coach as there is no real way of making it profitable. This couldn't be further from the truth! At the time I am writing this blog, there are roughly 120,000 Beachbody Coaches in North America. There is over 500 million people in North America, not to mention the fact that I have heard that the Coaching opportunity is aiming to expand to the UK and Europe in the future (possibly sooner rather than later!)

I am not yet at the point where I can make Beachbody a full-time career, and it may never reach that point, but as I said earlier, I enjoy doing what I do (helping others) so I will continue to do what I do, so I might as well be a Coach and earn a bit of money on the side.

From the money I earn as a Coach (I have been a Coach for just under 10 months at the time I am writing this blog) I am able to put my earnings towards:

  • No longer having to pay for any Beachbody programs I want
  • I no longer have to pay for my Shakeology
  • I have purchased new fitness equipment (dumbbells, squat rack, weight plates)
  • I am currently in the process of re-modeling my basement and home gym
  • I pay for athletic events that I enjoy competing in (Tough Mudder, World's Toughest Mudder

When I attended the Beachbody Coach Summit, it was incredibly inspiring to see a parade of Coaches being honoured on stage due to their "financial freedom" from their full-time jobs, their debt, their mortgages, etc. The reality of the matter is that a lot of Coaches may never reach that point, but the opportunity is there to earn as much as you wish!

This is not a plea to grow my team, because to be perfectly honest with you, as a Beachbody Coach, I technically earn more direct commission from regular paying customers than I do from Coaches on my team, but just like helping others achieve their health and fitness goals, I enjoy creating a team of like-minded individuals who wish to make an earning (at any level) by helping others.

Statistics & Rank – Beachbody Coach Income

How many Coaches are there? – Currently there are almost 120,000 coaches within Team Beachbody. A lot of the people who sign up do so to become what is known as a "discount Coach" to get a discount on their regular purchases, like Shakeology. This is a perfectly viable option for a lot of folks who find themselves purchasing Beachbody products on a consistent basis since you get a 25% discount on all Beachbody products. Other people put in the time and effort into building a home business while helping others reach their health and fitness goals.

Does Beachbody pay ALL Coaches a commission? – The answer is no. Not all Beachbody Coaches make a commission. Like I said, some only become a Coach for the discount. Roughly 32% of those who sign up to be a Coach never receive a commission from Beachbody. That means that 68% of Coaches have chosen to use the opportunity to grow a business.

The best part about this the Beachbody Coach income is that when you help others succeed, you succeed as well. Its the same philosophy with the workouts as well.
