Welcome to 2014! Happy New Year to all of you. I hope you all behaved yourselves last night.

With a New Year, comes yet another chance to reflect on where you currently stand, and where you are headed. This is true, not only for our careers and our education, but our health and lifestyles as well.

It is no secret that this is a popular time of year for people to make resolutions to improve their overall health. Luckily for all of you, being a part of this team, and this company (Beachbody), we have a lot of resources at your disposal to not only set goals for yourself, but to get the motivation and support to get there.

Beyond being a Beachbody Coach, I want to remind all of you that I am also a personal trainer, who has helped men and women of all ages reach their goals time and time again. I enjoy helping people lead healthier lifestyles and give them the tools to reach their goals, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions/comments/concerns you may have.

This week's topics of interest:

Well, summer is over. Some of you have either returned to school, or have kids/relatives who have returned to school. Even if you haven't returned to school, your workplace probably has that 'different' feel to it as summer is over and productivity is no doubt picking up after the "dog days of summer"!

Many of you may have either taken the entire summer off from a regimented exercise program, or have drastically altered your schedule based on holidays or just plain old lack of interest.

With the start of September comes a few different things. First of all, routines are starting to take shape. Either you are falling back into a routine that you have followed previously, or you have taken up a new routine based on a new school year/job/etc.

Secondly, we are just a few months away from the holiday season, and therefore the final march to the end of the year. I know it is crazy to think, but in just under 4 months, we will be kissing 2013 goodbye forever!

Not to fret, however. You still have time to fulfill some of the promises you made to yourself for this year, or make some promises now and finish the year off with a bang. Many of the fitness programs that Beachbody sells are based on a 13-week schedule (or shorter) which means that you have time (if you act now) to get started on a program that will finish your year off strong. I, along with others in our Challenge Group have the tools and motivation to get you there.

I always say to all of my clients, "I can only show you the door, you have to walk through it!"

Welcome to the last week of August! I can't believe it has now been over a year since I ran my first Tough Mudder! Time sure does fly. I know I sound like a broken record, but time just keeps on ticking by, whether you decide to get active and eat healthy or not...

This week's topics of interest:

1. You have until Saturday to take advantage of Beachbody's August promotions. TurboFire and Body Beast Challenge Packs are on sale for $160, and Focus T25 Challenge Pack is on for $180. I have mentioned in the past, even though it may seem early, the holiday season is right around the corner, so this could be a great deal to pick some gifts up for family and/or friends!

2. I have actually received a lot of feedback after my "Why I Dislike the P90X "Certification"" blog last week. One of the main reasons, it appears, as to why people decide to take the P90X Certification is to help educate themselves on the program. If you are a Coach, it can be a great too knowing more about P90X so that you can share that information with your clients/teammates. If you are just a fitness aficionado, then it could help you understand the program better to maximize your results. Either way, I am starting P90X University. Over the next several weeks, I will be educating all of those who are interested, on the program and the science behind it. This is a free 'course' to take, but I will also have some donation buttons live on my website soon just in case any of you wish to throw a few bucks my way based on the amount of time I am putting into this!

I can't believe how quickly July (and this year) are flying by! For those of you who don't know, I am still making my way through Focus T25 (and loving it!). I started the Beta Phase earlier this week. I plan on doing 4 weeks of the Beta phase before jumping into my World's Toughest Mudder training on Monday August 19th. I am still having some discomfort in my right elbow...

I am also taking some time to finish my basement. I am about 95% done the framing (hoping to be done by this weekend). The goal with my basement is to turn most of it into an awesome home gym! Keep an eye out for updates on my social media outlets over the next several weeks as that takes shape.

Here are the topics of discussion for this week:

1. There is just a week left to take advantage of the free shipping offer for Focus T25 as well as save over $90 on the Focus T25 Challenge Pack! Hey Everybody

I trust you are all doing well and progressing towards your health/fitness goals. A bit of a crappy week for me as I have been dealing with a few aches/pains that I am trying to get rid of before I dive head-first into my World's Toughest Mudder training. I am taking some time off from my strength training, but I am still pressing play with Focus T25. I really am enjoying the program, as it is keeping me sane, allowing me to workout, yet it is mostly lower-body focused (at least for now) so that I can allow my right elbow to heal.

Just a head's up for those of you interested, I am still mulling over what my plans are going to be, but I am quite certain that I am going to shorten the Alpha Phase by 1 week and jump into the Beta Phase starting Monday, so keep an eye out for my video blogs as I start the Beta Phase!

This week's topics of interest:

1. I have had some tremendous interest for my Shakeology 10-Packs. Welcome to July! Wow, the year is already half over, time is flying by. I know I sound like a broken record, but most people don't realize that time keeps on passing you by whether you choose to improve yourself or not! Don't have enough time to exercise? Well, Beachbody has you covered now...

This week's topics:

1. Wow, the buzz surrounding Focus T25 is just unbelievable! The interest shown by not only many on my team, but also customers and Coaches throughout Beachbody Nation is incredible! My wife and I have been working our way through the program as well, and now that I am a week and a half in, I can honestly say that I believe Beachbody has created such a perfectly versatile program here!

For those of you who are already fit from Insanity or Asylum, this can be used as a great "maintenance" routine. For those with other goals (including myself) it works well as an add-on. I have been doing more of a traditional strength program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with Focus T25 right alongside of it.

For those interested, you can find the Focus T25 Base kit and add-on Gamma Phase here.

Remember that the program is also paired with Shakeology, giving the perfect combination of exercise and nutrition in a Challenge Pack. From now until the end of July, the Challenge Pack is also on sale for $180 (over $70 savings).

When you are not trying to "close a sale" but instead are trying to truly help someone improve their life, you have nothing to fear. And guess what? That's good business.

Sure, some people you talk to may not be ready to participate. That's okay. But as a coach, you should never feel anything but total pride in your efforts to help more people. Every day - HELP MORE PEOPLE!

I am back from vacation in Jamaica. I had a wonderful time with my wife and son. I took the entire week off from exercise, ate like I was on vacation, and loved every minute of it, especially considering that this will be my only week off until after World's Toughest Mudder in November!

I am back now, though, so it is time to get back to the grind, especially since I have received word from Beachbody that I will be interviewing for a Body Beast testimonial while I am at Summit in June (more details below).

1. As I stated above, the Thursday I am in Vegas (June 20th), I will be meeting with Beachbody staffers for a "Green Screen Interview" with photos following. This means that I have 2 weeks to shed some of this vacation weight and get as ripped as I possibly can. I had lots of cheat meals while on vacation, but I think that 2 weeks of straight dedication should be just fine in getting as ripped as I can.

2. Great news from Beachbody. During the month of June, the LES MILLS COMBAT Challenge Pack is just $140, which is a savings of over $70 if you were to purchase these items separately.

Wow, we are at the end of May, when did that happen? Just a quick post today (and a day early) as I am heading to Jamaica in the morning for a week, and I have lots to do today. Hey Everybody!

Half-way through May. How is everyone's health/fitness goals coming? The official first day of summer is just over a month away, are you getting prepared to look/feel your best? I have never been one to promote a healthy lifestyle simply to look good, but so many people spend so much of their time uncomfortable in their own bodies, that it really does take away some of their enjoyment of the summer. What I'm saying is, you don't have to look like a supermodel, but you should certainly feel like one. When you feel better about yourself, your mood and how you perceive yourself goes through the roof!

Topics of interest this week:

1. Today is the last day to commit to my 30-day Shakeology Challenge. I would like all interested participants to place their order of Shakeology so that we can begin the Challenge no later than Wednesday May 22nd. That gives us a full 30 days of Shakeology goodness before the official first day of summer (Friday June 21st!)

2. My May "Win a copy of Shaun T's Focus T25" contest is still going strong! You have less than 2 weeks left to try and earn as many entries as you can to win an early copy of this program. 3. This past Saturday, I completed my third Tough Mudder event. This time around my wife competed with me. It was cold, it was miserable, and it was TOUGH, but we made it. Hello Everyone!

How is everyone doing this week? Here in Southern Ontario, we have been having some AMAZING weather lately. Hopefully the weather still holds up this weekend as I am running my 3rd Tough Mudder event, this time with my wife. We run in the very first heat Saturday morning (8am), I am really looking forward to it.

There are lots of exciting things going on during the month of May, below is a list of things in case you missed anything.

before it is released to the public! All of the details can be found here. Basically, the more you get involved with my team, the better your chances are at winning!

2. I am starting a 30-day Shakeology Challenge. I know a lot of you reading this e-mail have tried a sample that I have sent you, but you are either waiting or are hesitant to buy. I will say that samples are sent just so you can get a basic idea of the taste. You truly do need to take Shakeology for a full 30 straight days to get a full understanding of how it can help you. Hello Everybody!

Welcome to May! Is it just me or did April go by really fast? I can't believe my wife and I have just a week and a half before we run Tough Mudder on May 11th!

May and June are going to be busy months! I have various tasks to complete for work, not to mention a couple trips I now have booked. My wife, son and I will be heading to Jamaica for a week at the end of May, then once I get home, about a week and a half later I am heading to Vegas for Beachbody Coach Summit! Despite the busy schedule, I am committed to my fitness and will be continuing to press play and stay active.

Day 362 - Weekly Newsletter

Hello Everybody!

What a beautiful sunny day here in Southern Ontario. It is amazing what a little sunshine can do for your mood...especially after the winter we've had. I hope all of you are well and are staying active/eating healthy. Do you have short-term and long-term goals set? Remember that long-term goals are great to strive for, but it is the short-term goals that keep you motivated, progressing along.

A couple things to cover this week:

1. I am going to Beachbody Coach Summit 2013! This will be my first time going to not only Summit, but to Vegas as well. Summit traditionally is the time of year when Beachbody makes big announcements on their upcoming products. I will be taking lots of photos (and potentially video) at the event and will be live-blogging as much as I can, posting anything I hear to both my website www.tylerrobbinsfitness.com and my Facebook page www.facebook.com/TylerRobbinsFitness, so keep an eye on both between June 20th-22nd.

2. Bringing me to my next point - I have been an active blogger using "Blogger", but will no longer be posting there as of Monday April 22nd. From then on, you can find all of my blogs at tylerrobbinsfitness.com/blog I have more social integration here, so keep an eye out as every blog I post will be automatically posted at 6am.

3. Another video has been released detailing Shaun T's new program "Focus T25".

4. My sister, who is a brand-new Beachbody Coach shared this awesome story with me: I am new to the beach body family. Two days ago I received my Les Mills Pump and my Chocolate shakeology. Anyways I started taking shakeology today, so I took it to work with me. Anyways I was just on my way home from work, and I was pulled over by the police. My husband's car has a taillight out, and I was having a hard time finding the insurance card (which I did find) in the glove box. Anyways the cop saw the bag of shakeology on my passenger side seat, and soon the conversation turned to it. I told him about the coach program and beach body sales etc... Anyways he let me go, and we may have a new client :). Thank you Shakeology!!

5. Just a few weeks left to take advantage of Beachbody's Insanity Challenge Pack Promotion!

6. For those of you who may have missed it, I purchased a brand-new squat rack with Olympic bar and weight plates this past weekend. I just couldn't hold off any longer, so as of this morning, I am back to using Body Beast as my workout program.
