Welcome to P90X University, I am your professor, Tyler Robbins B.Sc., CSCS.

There are a number of reasons why I wished to share all of this information with you. For one, I am on a continual mission to educate folks on as many topics and aspects surrounding health and fitness as I can.

Secondly, P90X has been a major part of my fitness life. I have spent many hours practicing, learning, and studying the program to learn everything there is to know about it.

Finally, I oftentimes see mistruths or misconceptions surrounding the program. Although I am a big fan of P90X, I try and remind people that there really isn't anything 'magical' or 'new' that hasn't been done before. In fact, many of the buzzwords and marketing terms surrounding the program, have in fact been in practice for many years. What Beachbody, P90X, and Tony Horton have done so well, is come up with a near-perfect solution for people to get in great overall shape using (relatively) simple tools at home rather than going to a fitness facility.

Listed below are the topics that are going to be covered over the next several weeks and months. This list can and will change and adapt based on what input I receive from all of you! Although I will not be giving you any sort of "certification" or "Facebook badge" by the end of the training, I hope you can take away a better understanding of the program, including the scientific principles used throughout. Stay tuned!
